ECMO VMC100 Retrofit with Carousel/Toolchanger

Hi! And.. success!!!!!!

I found some issues in my ngc!

Later i make a video and upload! Then i show how to get a working toolchanger with the carousel.comp!

I made 3 failures...
Debounce-Modul wrong CAP!
Timing placing in the ngc
Order of handle stuff in the ngc


I collect later everything and show it.

Thanks to andypugh to show the right way.

Its not so fast like original Emco but its everytime done a correct Toolchange!

This is awesome! I actually just today started wiring up the retrofit of my EMCO Concept Mill 155. Newbie to linuxcnc, so it’s been going slow so far. Would you be open to sharing your setup files? I’ve got the same tool changer, would love to see your code for that.

Hi i dont know if you have the exact same toolchanger. Can you check how many sensors you have on the toolchanger?

In the past i saw same system with 4 sensors.

From where you are?

I’ll have to peak in and look at how many sensors it has, everything I’ve seen it looks nearly identical. I’m in the states, in Texas.

Looks like mine has two sensors for the tool turret and the z limit switch.
