TA8435H 5axis driver config of duel X axis stepper

Hi all

I have managed to build my machine and get setup so far without much help. i am at a point where i just have to shout out HELP! PLEASE. i am using two steppers for my X and all motors are configured with the same screws and similar setup. The problem i am seeing is that the second motor (configured as X2 on pins 5 and 8 in the setup wizard) keeps turning in the opposite direction. Ive tried swapping motors around and checked all cabling etc and config (inverting) and it all seems fine? anybody got any ideas where i may be going wrong?

Ok got to the bottom of the problem far too late last night. The answer was a mixture PC, Parallel port (epp,ecp etc) and the reversing of direction. This board needed this combo to work:

1. Slower PC so used my old laptop
2. the port needed to be changed to epp and not ecp
3. the reverse on direction added to the second stepper.
