You can only have one so pick the 201 timing.

My guess is that you will need to configure it to run with the slower of the two controllers. I don't recall seeing anywhere in the config files you could specify different timings. I believe, the timing is calculated as a system value and applied to the drivers that way. I say this because I see only one entry in the EMCMOT section of the machine.ini file. But, being an amatuer, I may have this worng.

UPDATE: switching from 10.04 to 8.04 solved all my problems. Now pins 14 & 16 work, and now the 201 purrs like a kitten.
Apparently there is either a bug in 10.04 or else it just didn't like my box (a HP DC5000 P4).
