Home Switch Error was created by djcslip
Hi All,

I've been successfully using linuxCNC for around a year with no real issues (that' i couldn't find answers to on here). However - i stupidly hit the wrong switch and turned the PC off without shutting it down and now i have odd behaviour.

I have 3 switches which i use to home the machine. These switches no longer stop the motors turning. I've fired up the HAL monitor and can verify that the X,Y,Z status of the switches toggle when pressed - so the signal is getting to the PC. But why on earth isn't the "stop motors" signal (not sure which one this is) leaving the PC and stopping the driver card?

The board i'm using is an M335_TB6560_3axis (info attached)

Which HAL signal can i monitor to see if the output to the driver board is being activated? Any other ideas?

I assume you mean that the axes are over-running the home switches?

Can you zip your config directory and attach it, need to know if they are shared switches and exactly what the homing settings are before hazarding a guess.

regards
