Hi All,
I have a MAX NC 10 controller which appears to use 4 phases to drive the steppers. Does anyone have a sample of a stepconf file that I can work from to get started?
Best I can tell I have to map the PP pins like this:
Phase X Y Z
---- ---- ----
1 6 1 2
2 7 14 3
3 8 16 4
4 9 17 5
Thanks for any help,
Rick

The Stepconf Wizard only creates files with step type 0 with step and direction each on a pin.
There are 6 choices for 4 phase steppers.

You might have to start with a sample configuration and modify it to suit your machine.

I have to agree on the sample configuration file. I think if someone has a configuration file for a 4-phase steppers, or any phased steppers, I could adapt it. In the meantime, I'll start working my way through the configuration process.
Thanks, Rick
