Setting for DIYCNC system 45 was created by SteveT
I am about to configure a "System 45" 3 axis unit by DIYCNC in the UK , can some one please advice on what timing setting I should use when using the StepConf Wizard.
Also the instructions give the following setting for the drivers that I don't understand?
1/2 step type B (0-100%)
1/2 step type A (0-71-100%)
Which should I use?
Thanks
Steve

Hi
These boards use the Toshiba TB6600G stepper chip, as beloved by the latest Chinese TB6600 boards
The default timings from stepconf of 5000ns for pulses and 20000ns for hold times should work, you can tune from there
This is the datasheet, he is quoting direct from the specs re the phase type, see his manual for different stepper wiring types
