Hi,
This is my first post. I write here even if I don't know if it is the right place. Be free to move it to the best entry.
First of all sorry for my poor English.
Here is my concern:
Using stepconf wizard to setup my CNC router from china seems to work.
If I test each axis (XYZA) works quit well. Unfortunately when I switch to the Axis interface, all axes will jog but not the Z one.
I've tried to swap the axis in the configuration and changed the Y step and direction with the Z one. Running Axis I could jog the Y axis who move the Z axes an if I trie to move the Y axis ( using up and down page keys) I got no movement at all.

I am really confused.
I had been using LinuxCNC for the last two years with a DIY wood router with a "red" china controller successfully without problems .
Do you have any clues to solve my problem?
I am using LinuxCNC 2.5 on a Pentium 4 @ 2.4 Ghz / ubuntu 12.04 / 512 MB Ram.

Best regards
Juan-Carlos

Hello k-1,
I'm running on 10.04. found my mistake and looked like a fool.
I Stepconf, I set the the Z to go from 0 to -70 instead of -70 to 0 goooo.I would atted fom a wizard that it will tell such a ridiculous setting. This will be a good thing for noobs like me :-)

Tanks anyway for your support
