Simulation of codes ok - but the machine doesn't move was created by elevalther
Hi Folks

I've installed linuxcnc and I have been able to stepper motors to move in the step conf wizard mode, but when I try with a example file nothing happens, I can see the simulation of gcodes is ok, but the machine doesn't work, any idear

On the second screen in stepconf wizard, do not tick the "create simulated hardware configuration".

If you made a config using stepconf wizard, use that config not a sample config.
If they work in wizard they will work in axis or gmoccapy.
Can you give us more info on the procedure, please.

Why are you using an example file rather than the config made by stepconf?
Also be aware that the stepconf axis test does not control the drive-enable pins, so it is sometimes the case that the generated config turns _off_ the drives which worked perfectly OK in the axis test.
