Hello! I have a problem with configuration of 5 axis foam cutter. The machine is as follows:
XY - column 1 (linear)
UV - column 2 (linear)
B - rotary table

I created configuration files, but there are following problems:

  1. during startup I got message:
INFO CLASSICLADDER- No ladder GUI requested-Realtime runs till HAL closes.
    Found file(REL): ./custom.hal
Unexpected realtime delay on task 0 with period 25000
This Message will only display once per session.
Run the Latency Test and resolve before continuing.

  2. I must do homing for all axes (XYZABCUV) to run the machine. Using 2.7.12 I do it through the main menu what is very inconvenient.

  3. hotkey /Ctrl-Home/ to home all axes does not work while shortcuts with /Control/ work fine.

Thank you,

Hi

Message 1, is not a problem. It says it's only once displayed at startup.
It can be a signal that you current speed's are to fast to handle. But in beginning no problem to start with.

Message 2, if you want homing for all axis in one time, that is possible with a button. Gmoccapy has this button.
Gscreen has this button.

Message 3, It looks like cntr-home for homing all, is only working in axis.

For this configuration i advise you to start with gscreen 9 axis.

Thank you for the advice. I was not aware about GUI customization. Is it possible to solve issue 2 with the default GUI, so I can home only used axes XYUVB?

Yes home all is possible with the default UI (Axis), providing you configure it correctly. Have you read through the homing chapter in the docs?
