StepConf Test Axis vs Axis

When I set up and test axis in stepconf the amount of total travel is correct of half an inch. In axis when running and jogging everything is half the scale. What am I doing wrong?

I changed my Driver microstepping to 4. Makes sense since the driver was set to 800 per rev. The only thing I can figure is that for some reason in StepConf when you run a range of half an inch that half inch both directions?

The 'Test Area' function in StepConf Wizard defaults to a plus/minus value, so setting it to 0.5in will run the axis -0.5in to +0.5in either side of its starting position. Ie 1in of total travel.

It can also be configured to run as separate '+' or '-' tests, in which case it should advance in the positive and negative directions by the amount specified.
