i am trying to find the driver timing settings for the attached stepper motor driver.. all i have for info on it is... the driver is out of a Probotix cnc controller. I have reached out to them but can not get a response... i am trying to get the settings in correct in the configuration. my current settings are
Driver Type - other

the closet thing i can find is MondoStep 4.2 Bi-polar stepper Driver.. however this is on the probotix web site and no information on the above settings

I believe that is the same drive a s a KL-5056.
www.kelinginc.net/KL-5056D.pdf
According to that manual the minimum timings are:
Step Time 2500
Step Space 2500
Direction Hold 5000
Direction Setup 5000.
And I would increase them at least 50% just to be safe. Unless it interferes with the maximum speeds you need, then set them as large as you can and still achieve your goals.
