Axis configuration was created by sandman92k
sorry to keep asking.
Ok my motors are nema 23 and are 200 steps per revolution.
my drivers are kl 5056 and the driver micorstepping is set at 4 micro steps on the driver.
so in the axis configuration in linuxcnc for motor steps per revolution i should use 200
and in the driver microstepping i should us 4, or change the settings on the drivers to 2 and use 2 on the axis configuration?

What is the pitch of your screw?
A 5tpi screw divided by 200 steps is .001 per step. So I think you would want to microstep 10 to get .0001 resolution. I think this is how it works.
At 4 you could step .00025 inch
