EMC drive directions are wrong was created by beanrider
Hy,
i owned a Haase Cut2000 CNC. I tried to migrate the old DOS-CNC "Step4" programm to EMC2, made the config-Files with the StepConf-Wizard.
Every thing is doing well, incept all driving-directions of the X/Y/Z-directions are going completely in the invers direction.
In the AXIS-Tool the direction is right, as it should be, so i only had to customize the driving-direction and everything is fine.
After reading in this and other forums some guys changed the Par-Port direction with the "-invers" parameter, i tried this to, but nothing helps.
So where can i change the direction of the driving-ways and what parameters did i have to change.
Any help is welcome.

The simplest way is probably to edit the .ini file and convert the SCALE functions to negative (or positive if they are already negative).
Inverting the direction pin into the stepper drives should also work (in the HAL file).
Don't do both, you will end up back where you started.

not sure how you did it but:
IN stepconf:
if you negate one of the following (choose only one):
motor steps per revolution
driver micro stepping
leadscrew pitch
or pulley teeth
then the scale will be negative and the drives shouldl be reversed.
without hand modifying the INI file

Where and how could i change this, with the wizard?
What i did, is to change the scale entry om the ini-file with a "-", like SCALE="1000" (before) to SCALE="-1000".

For steppers if they go the wrong direction invert the direction pin for that axis on the Parallel Port Setup page.
