Hi I'm setting up LinuxCNC for the first time and I have some problems regards to setting up the driver.

I don't know if I'm interpret ta data sheet correct, so if someone can confirm and maybe help me out a bit that we be most appreciated.
I have made these assumptions based upon the timing spec in the data sheet are those correct?

Step Time: 2500 ns
Step Space: 2500 ns
Direction Hold: 2000 ns
Direction Setup: 4000 ns

Datasheet can be found here: Data sheet

You should really start with:
Step Time: 15000 ns
Step Space: 15000 ns
Direction Hold: 20000 ns
Direction Setup: 20000 ns
Only after you have the motor running properly, albeit slowly, then you can try:
Step Time: 5000 ns
Step Space: 5000 ns
Direction Hold: 20000 ns
Direction Setup: 20000 ns
As this should work with most drives, and if all is good but you can not get the speed you need, you can try lowering them a bit more.
