Stepper problem was created by Chipmunk
Hello Linux. I am experiencing some problems with my stepper motors. When I try to test my individual motors on Stepcon after setting up the parameters they just make a noise similar to when comming to a hard stop. When I open up the CNC program and set x,y,z to home they work OK also when I do the touch off they also work well. These actions are carried out using the keyboard. If I use the G code to send all the axis to their physical home the steppers just make the same noise As soon as I try to run a program they sound like they are at a hard stop. Have you folks any ideas

You have the velocity set to high, try lowering it in stepconf for each axis until they do not stall any more, and then lover it 25% more just to be on the safe side.

i use lots of tb6600 no problem at all
you need to set the microstepping to 1/4 or 800steps on this drivers
this reduces noice to almost nothing
the max speed depends on PC but under 100k standard base latency from stepconf
you get
the ACC not over 500mm/s²/s²
while the VEL depends on scale at 100 =0,01mm per step its for me 200mm/sec
