China Router SHG0609 config was created by intruderevil
Hello i have problem with my Chinese Cnc Router. I use it with Mach3 the last 10 Years but no i want to change to LinuxCnc.
I have Problems to configure the correct ports and pins. I have a working Mach3 xml File if its help. I have try many differnt Computers and Cards without any changes. NO Axis moves.
Anybody know what to do? Thx

As you have two possible routes to go (MESA PCI or regular parallel port) you might want to describe your approach.
Since the problem has been to get your PCI to parallel port card recognized you might want to start with that. So post the details of your pc and the type of parallel port you are using also the output of ' lspci -v' and 'uname -a'.

One thing you can try is to reset the BIOS by removing the battery. I once had a similar problem that a PCI card was not being detected and resetting the BIOS solved it.
It's a long shot but maybe it's worth a try.

If you are configuring for the parallel port then the "Stepconf" configuration wizard can import your MACh3 XML and create a LinuxCNC configuration.

You really have to provide more info and more pictures, we are clairvoyants, there are no visible markings on the board so ....
