Z home configuration problems was created by aterhune1984
Hello, Just got my home switches set up however I am having some problems on the Z axis.
What I want to happen is the top to be 0, the bottom to be -2~. When the home button is pressed I want the axis to move up until it hits the home switch(which is located on top of the axis) then set the axis to 0 and I will be able to move down to -2~. everything I have tried so far has not worked, can someone give me any suggestions on what configuration I need to put in to get this accomplished. Thanks!

So, what have you tried and what was the result?
Do all the other axis home correctly?
Did you use the Stepconf Wizard to generate you config?
If using the Stepconf Wizard did you read the manual on axis configuration?

Sorry, figured it out a bit after I posted. If you change the speed to a negative number (-2) it will move in the opposite direction. Thanks though
