Can't set G54 zero was created by Routerworks
From what I can see, when I home each axis it creates a zero for each based on the rectangular box it forms based on the limits described in the set up min and max axis limits. However one should be able to move the axes to any location and call that zero (G54) and have the machine start there.
Can't seem to set program zero anywhere but "home" zero. It was pretty easy in Mach3. I must be missing something.
Thanks for any help in advance

Just to spare good people from using their valuable time to explain this to me. I think I have figured it out. Home limits are really set in the set up. Once you have the box it creates you can move the tool to any position within it being careful to know you tool movement won't be expected to go outside of it. Then "touch off" each axis and have your new G54 zero.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you again.
