Hi all,
Extreme newbie here, with what I hope isnt too vague a question, im going round and round on google and getting nowhere fast.
We have upgraded recently to CNC running linux for our plasma cutter.
We want imperial measurements as we are NZ based, we have imported the toolset into Sheetcam, but are having trouble getting the same toolset into CNC.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this or can point me in the right direction?
Im also emailing the rep in USA but with the time difference its a bit of a battle.

Thanks in advance, Amber, admin of an Engineering business :O

I am a bit puzzled who you are contacting in the US, as I think that SheetCAM is based in the UK...

This is probably the wrong part of the forum. Are you running Plasmac?

You would need to set the machine to be imperial in your ini file.
I am assuming you use metric units in your shop. So,
In sheetcam, select metric and edit your tool sets to be in metric units. Clean it up so it only has the tools you want.
Save/export your tool settings, then import into  Qtplasmac. I think this is still via a seperate program, so check the docs on how to do this.
You may also need to change the settings at the top of the postprocessor, to use the QTplasmac defaults, not sheetcam''s
