Sorry this must get asked all the time. I did search but am new to the forum and did not find what I need.
I am a long term Mach3 user on a number of machines. So I thought I would have a look at EMC2.
One is a gantry router with two drives on the X axis. How do I slave the X with the A (or B or C)?
If it can only be done by hooking two drives to one set of output pins then unfortunately that is a deal breaker for me.

I'm confused as to what your trying to do.
Do you want to drive both sides of the Gantry with X nnn and have seperate parallel port pins for each drive?
Just pick two more pins for X step and direction in the stepconf wizard...
Or are you wanting to drive one side with X nnn and the other side with A nnn?

OK I got it working as you said.
I was trying to do it all in Stepconf via the "test this axis" dialogue and it would not jog two drives.
However when testing in EMC it worked as expected.
Next question;
How do I alter keyboard shortcuts?
I use a non extended keyboard which has no page-up or page-down keys.
I want to jog Z with + and - keys as I am accustomed to using.
Thanks for answering these very newb type queries.

That is a bit more complicated. Here is a link

Once you make the changes save the changes as an upgrade might overwrite the file.
