I guess the Debian 9 USB stick isn't boot able with my HP notebook computer because it wasn't an acceptable device. The HP legacy boot functions because it accepted Ubuntu SD Micro and booted-up.
I plugged-in an Debian GNU/Linux 7.11 (Wheezy) SD Micro into USB adapter to the BRIX, F12, selected boot drive and it booted-up. I guess the BRIX BIOS didn't detect the USB Debian 9 as a boot able drive but why nowadays. I guess I wasn't using the SD Micro Wheezy because it's not preempt-rt and ethernet compatible. I guess memory cards don't have the longevity as USB sticks to erase and save data too.
I guess I can make another Debian preempt-rt USB boot able but it doesn't quite resolve why the other one isn't boot able.
