("numbers" below as example only) #6# SUBSYSTEM=="usb" #6# ATTR{idVendor}=="6666" #6# ATTR{idProduct}=="9930 #6# Press q when you have what you want to quit the search #6# In the folder with the rules you downloaded, find the right ruleset (STLINK, etc) open in notepad #6# If you cannot find a rule with values matching your values then add it to the bottom #6# (EXAMPLE) SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="6666", ATTR{idProduct}=="9930" #6# Open Terminal in folder containing your new modified rules and run sudo cp *.rules /etc/udev/rules.d sudo udevadm control --reload-rules sudo reboot #6# Open terminal - with debug probe plugged in run pyocd list #6# You should now see your debug probe. #7# FLASHING REMORA FIRMWARE TO EC500 ## #7# DOWNLOAD REMORA CPPMAIN FROM GIT## #7 Plug your debug probe into the EC500 header pins and power the EC500 #7 Open console in the downloaded folder containing Remora Firmware and run pyocd flash remora-rt1052-3.1.2.bin --target mimxrt1050_quadspi #7 Once finished wait a 10 seconds and then power cycle the EC500 (IMPORTANT NOTE: POWER CYCLING THE EC500 TOO FAST CAN CORRUPT IT REQUIRING FIRMWARE REFLASH, ALWAYS WAIT A FEW SECONDS BEFORE POWER DOWN AND POWER UP) #8# INSTALL ETH COMPONENT #8 Find downloaded components folder containing  remora-eth.3.0.c and open a console here - run sudo halcompile --install remora-eth-3.0.c #9# Flashing a CONFIG to the EC500 ## #9 Plug in ethernet from PC to EC500 - Set IP address manually with range of (10.10.10.*) DO NOT USE (10.10.10.10) #9 With EC500 powered, navigate to your folder containing your CONFIG (usually your machine config folder) and open console in the location - run ping 10.10.10.10 #9  You should be seeing results from the EC500 #9 Ctrl-C to close ping - run python3 upload_config.py config.txt ## FINISHED ## ## If you run your HAL and have an error - Check your .hal is loading the eth3.0 component and not the remora.nv component##
