The RK3588 is a hell of a CPU. The S version is slightly cut down but not in any way that should matter for most machine stuff. Orange Pi 5 is probably the lowest priced device using a 3588, be great if it had a 2nd ethernet port.

Did anyone try using android TV boxes for this?
Today i found some in a local shop that caught my eye, they had Alwiner 616 plastered all over the box, with 32 or 64 GB of space for 60 and 65 Euro respectively. No info on the amount of RAM.
Should i get one or is it a no go?
