Hello, I built a mach 3 based plasma table using junk china parts. I am sick of dealing with problem after problem. Latest one is the board crashing and losing all usb including the mouse and keyboard. I figure it's time to upgrade and the thc integration really captivated me towards Linux cnc aswell as the freedom modify. I have never ran linux before but I am no beginner to computers and building stuff. I was looking into the mesa boards. Does anybody have any recommendations for a super reliable computer to purchase to run linux cnc in a industrial setting and any recommendations for the breakout board and thc to run a plasma table? Thanks.

Reliable computer will not help you, any computer will do.
The thing with plasma is they create huge amounts of interference when striking and arc, so grounding and proper shielding are mandatory.
Normally you can get away with Mesa 7i96S and THCAD, and they are extremely reliable.
Here are some ideas:

I understand that any computer will do but with my previous set up I've ran into issues with the actual computer being unstable. Halfway threw cutting the thing crashes complete freeze up. I am looking for a computer that is able to handle being left on for days on end no instability.

That can be from interference on parallel port, easily.
It can also be failing power supply or memory modules or overheating processor.

I am looking for a computer that is able to handle being left on for days on end no instability.

With parallel port?
Dell Optiplex 980 big tower
HP Z200
HP Z210
Last two have headers so make sure the port is on the back as it can be removed and is hard to find.
If you want new with parallel port, there is an MSI Tomahawk with B450 or B550 chipset that has a parallel port header, for AMD, but the price for the board only is still higher than the full PC mentioned above.
