I didn't know Vcarve would run on a Linux box, interesting.

I did try it some 5 years ago and it worked nicely . You just need to install vine before you try to install Vcarve.
sudo apt-get install vine

This too gives me vales that move the tool, but I am still not loading the tool Z axis off-set.

My Fusion 360 ngc files have a ngc line that reads G43 Z0.xx H(tool number), it takes the offset value from the LinuxCNC Tool Table and offsets the tool given it's "Tool Touch Off" value.

Why isn't this Vetric post writing that code line?

My post has a call "G00 G43 [ZH]" in it, I must have something incorrectly written.

Thanks again

Is that "vine" or Wine? (I haven't heard of vine but I don't know a lot of things).

I've never used Vcarve as a stand alone program, I bet you can't run Aspire in Wine, or with a beefy enough PC maybe you can..

Do not bother with it, it is mainly used to do engravings from pictures.
Linuxc can run a lot of windoze stuff, it just might take a while to get them working in some cases.
Nothing can compensate for utterly useless and extremely bad coding done on some win software.
