Touchscreen operation with iPad possible?

I have been using my Ipod as a pendant for close to 2 years now. Great as I can change buttons around and do just about anything the Keyboard could do. The only Negative I have for it is I cannot use Constant Jogging. Im not a programmer but for some reason the button press on the Ipod is viewed as a quick single button press instead of a press and hold.

Would you mind to explain me a bit more in detail how you did that?
Is there a software that you have to deploy on the same computer that you run EMC on?

Would you share the settings/profile that you use on your phone?

No other software is needed you just have to configure the VNC server that is already installed. Its very easy and the steps are here.

Making your own custom remote is a little more time consuming but not impossible. I just edited one of the already installed profiles. Maybe 20 minutes of work. What I do like is I can change the buttons around to fit my progression of work. Be aware that is is only a remote keyboard that you are able to create keyboard short cuts. Well worth the 99 cents I payed when they first started up. Knowing what I know now I would pay the 5 bucks. Another thing that is funny is Mach3 works fine for constant jogging.

Im pretty sure this is the right one. It will look a little different then the one in the video as it should have a Zero in the center.

You have to put all 4 files into one folder.

In HippoRemote I have the possiblity to import a profile by uploading a ZIP file which contains the profile... tried to do that but it does not work?
How is your profile named?
