Hi Guys,

When I open my PlasmaC config using Axis it will always load and not open up but is minimized to the task bar,

Also when I click the link in the task bar it opens but is in its minimized form, I always need to click to maximize the screen.

How can I set it up so that when I click on the desktop icon it will open up without going to the task bar and fully maximized?

In the ini file, [PLASMAC] section

change:
MAXIMISED = 0

to:
MAXIMISED = 1

Ok I have followed Phills advice with the setting in the ini file and that has fixed one of the problems.

The other is when I open my desktop shortcut the program opens minimized to the task bar. I have searched for the answer but I am not sure exactly what setting would be controlling that.

What happens if you run your LinuxCNC config from a terminal?

This is what I get and it still opens minimized to the task bar,

Can you post your material file, something like <machine_name>_material.cfg
Edit2: It won't be that, but if you edit your material file and change [VERSION 1] to [VERSION 1.1] it will get rid of that upgrade nag.

Edit1: What flavour of Linux are you using?

AFAIK this requires code in the .axisrc file.
(but maybe Phill covers this somewhere with PlasmaC)
                    # Find the largest size possible and set AXIS to it
                    maxgeo=root_window.tk.call("wm","maxsize",".")
                    try:
                       fullsize=maxgeo.split(' ')[0] + 'x' + maxgeo.split(' ')[1]
                    except:
                       fullsize=str(maxgeo[0]) + 'x' + str(maxgeo[1])
                    root_window.tk.call("wm","geometry",".",fullsize)
                    # Uncomment for fullscreen
                    #root_window.attributes('-fullscreen', True)

Yeah, there is code in the USER_COMMAND_FILE to do that but the problem he has is that when he runs LinuxCNC it starts with Axis minimized.
