Here is a first release of my HAL module to use the XHC-HB04 MPG pendant with LInuxCNC.

Hope that helps other users :)

Yes, the LCD screen is managed as a DRO showing current position (X, Y, Z, A, spindle and feedrate).
But the layout cannot be modified because it is hard coded in the LCD matrix.
However, you can choose to display other float signasl than the standard machine and workpiece coordinates by patching the xhc-hb04.hal file.

I have bought the MPG from a local guy. Unfortunately there was only one unit.
I have added a picture in the wiki page.
Here we have one with same layout www.aliexpress.com/item/MACH3-WIFI-mpg-U...ldbus/639910195.html but it seems out of stock

Similar devices are common on ebay, but with few modifications on the keyboard layout.
I assume we will have to adapt the HAL source code to accommodate other layouts. I can do that for you.

Thank you for your effort!
Now, I'm already interested to purchase one, and just want to make sure, that this one will be compatible with your hal, except some minor modifications considering key layout?

@tommy this MPG looks very similar to mines, except the names of buttons.
If the USB protocol is the same, the keyboard layout adaptation should be easy.
It will require some modifications in the C source code that I can do.
I will say that we have 90% of chance that the adaptation will be easy to do.
