I bought omron 100ppr quadrature encoder to connect my bob.
connect pin 10 and 11 as phase A and index.
stepconfig select those pin as mentioned but not spindle speed not working,
what is missing?

Mate don't start new threads for basically the same issue, otherwise it get confusing. Keep it all to one thread.
Also information about how you connected it up......ie: Power & Gnd and your hal & ini files.
Maybe even a link to the product datasheet. The more info the better the help. It's tiring to have to pull information from people.

A couple of things:
1. if you are using both A and B lines from the encoder (quadrature) you will have 400 counts
per turn so the scale should be 400 not 100
EDIT I see you are using only A and index so 100 is correct for counter mode
2. why do you have encoder 3 instead of 0?
3. People can be of more help if you post your hal/ini files and any error messages
you recieve

i am using linux cnc wheezey 2.7.
Can not change the time and so cannot be connected to internet.
I try to copy config file to usb but it also cannot done.
So i will copy text and send you as a text file.
