But again a bunch of thing are missing in your config.
see here for the minimum needed :https://linuxcnc.org/docs/html/config/ini-homing.html#_immediate_homing

Your saying it should be:
Joint 0 should read HOME_SEQUENCE=1
and
Joint 3 should read HOME_SEQUENCE=3
Joints 1 and 2 should read HOME_SEQUENCE=-2
Joint 0 should read HOME_SEQUENCE=1
and
Joint 3 should read HOME_SEQUENCE=3
Joints 1 and 2 should read HOME_SEQUENCE=-2

Yes, but you MUST also have ALL 5 lines mentioned there under 6.13 immediate homing. This is

Yes, but you MUST also have ALL 5 lines mentioned there under 6.13 immediate homing. This is
- HOME_SEARCH_VEL = 0
- HOME_LATCH_VEL = 0
- HOME_USE_INDEX = NO
- HOME equals to HOME_OFFSET
- HOME_SEQUENCE = 0 (or other valid sequence number)

I am just reading that from your link. Do I put this under each axis? Do I need to put sequence number?

Looks like "=0" for homing sequence as homing is manual.
I don't have a "home all" button but can home them individually.

You put this under each JOINT (all 4)
You can put 0 for the HOME_SEQUENCE or any other valid number.

I am changing to:
x axis sequence =1
y=-2
y=-2
z=-3
Will give it a try.
Thanks

I would try with z=0 instead of -3

To put it in the vernacular "Holy Cow" you did it. Looks like all the axis are working. All the motion is appropriate on the screen. X and Z move correctly. Looks like Y does also. Waiting for the Y motors to be delivered today and will hook them up. I'll let you know how it works out.
It's been a learning curve as most things are.
Can't thank you enough and everyone else for your help.

Routerworks

GREAT!
This is a fantastic community here. Not long ago I was on the 'receiving side'. I'm glad I could help and give back a little.
