Hi all.

I'm currently running linuxcnc 2.9.2 on debian bookworm on a , after an unsuccessful attempt on 2.8 which gave me some problems.

My joypad, which was working on 2.8, do not work anymore.

The input pins are apparently missing from HAL in 2.9.2

ottorino@8-CNC:~$ halcmd show pin input
Component Pins:
Owner   Type  Dir         Value  Name

I'm afraid I'm missing something obvious here.

The hardware spec are attached hereunder

Changed the tittle to reflect the use of joypad.

I think 2.9.x brought some changes in pin names related to joints and axis.

Quite a while ago, I updated the wiki for a logitech joypad for the 2.8 and 2.9 releases. The only joypad change was  LinuxCNC  2.9 renames btn-joystick to btn_trigger. I am using this on several machines with the latest 2.9 without problems.
