New to Linuxcnc project automated band saw was created by car84
I'am looking for examples of Plc only machines and hmi's
I want to use linuxcnc so I can add motion for miter cutting later for now I plan on just Plc running air cylinders to advance stock and raise and lower blade

Can you tell us a bit more about your project? It seems like you only need two buttons from your description.

It is a bandsaw with two vices one holds the part for cutting the other is a shuttle to advance the materal there is a adjustment screw that set the length of the part by controlling the shuttle stroke
There needs to be HMI for part count , trim cut pluse auto and manual run
Machine inputs for frame up , down , shuttle forward and revers , holding vice open , closed and shuttle vice open , closed
Not supper complexed but I like the idea of using linuxcnc because other feature's like mitering or auto debure

Possibly a simple Glade UI along with some HAL would be all you need.
