Modbus Communication Error was created by CrazyPenguin
Hello to all.........
My english is no good............. so is very bad.......
I'm using the ClassicLadder Ver 7.124 and a Delta PLC like a modbus distributed I/O....... the EMC2 is querying constantly and a PLC is responding but the message "Modbus Communication Error" never disapears.-
I'm using a protocol analyzer and i think that the framming is ok, but i don't know why doesn't work.-
Many Thanks

Hello back!
If you run EMC from a terminal then go to 'config' in Classicladder and set the debug level to 2 or 3
You will get more error messages that will help to diagnosis the trouble.
Are you using a serial port or a usb to serial port converter?
is the slave number right?
does your slave plc use an offset of one or zero? (that can be changed in the config window)
let me know the error messages.

Thanks for your help...........
I make a mistake, I was confuse a hex notation by decimal notation in the addresing of modbus protocol . Now, the modbus communication is working perfectly.
Thanks again.
