Can you post your dmesg here?. It would save time to see if the 5I25 card is being detected or not.

As a down and dirty test for the 5i25/7i76 open a terminal and copy the commands to load LinuxCNC and hostmot and then show pin. This is the output from my 5i25/7i76 machine.

it is seeing the card ok , but not the serial io , so ... is the 24v power applied before the pc is started ?
I am presuming if the 24v is delayed on start up , then the serial is not initialised on time for the 5i25 to list the pins

One way is looking at the label on the 5i25 card (assuming you have not changed the firmware)
the other way is looking at the pin list in the kernel log. Looking at your pinlist in the kernel log shows
that you have 7I77 firmware, not 7I76 firmware

so long as both jumpers on the 7i76 W1 & W2 are to the left and W3 to the left also , then i'm out of ideas , no doubt PCW will advise , and I bet it's something we have over looked .
