Iam using an external power supply for this I have w1 and w2 on the 5i25 in the default (down position).

I think the Signals from the 2nd port of the 5i25 have to few power, but how can I change this, is it possible to power the 5i25 externally ?
Or am I totally wrong ?

W1 and W2 on the FPGA card should be down
W5 on both 7I77s should be in the right hand position

5V at both 7I77s should be checked

both 5I25 --> 7I77 cables must be IEEE-1284 type

Hello, thanks for your help everybody!

We finally foubd out the error source was the mainboard!

The PCI port was not working fine, we first thought it's becaise of the flatcables but in the 5i25 manual we read that flatcables are allowed for distances under 3 foot.

Here is a picture of our own controll system we are developing using the mesa cards.

The cables look a bit crazy, it was just for testing.
