custom mesa implementation

My guess is for a 5I20 (or other SpartanII based card) you will have to comment out the SimpleDSAD module in the HostMot2 source file

I will try to make a Spartan-II compatible source snapshot for older cards when I get a chance.

A lot of the issues are with the fact that you need to use a quite old compiler
for Spartan-II, and that i have not tested builds on the old compiler for at least a
couple of months, so the current snapshot has many issues with ISE 9.x

No unfortunately ISE 9.2 is the latest that supports SpartanII chips

The i65card error is weird, maybe something else broken (might try removing i65card.vhd from the source list)

As i mentioned, I will make a Spartan2/ISE9.2 source/project dist but i wont be able to do this until Monday

No need to make the project dist.
I can build now. I didnt have the webupdates.
Manually installing SP1,2,3,4 made it work.
Note to others adventurers:
When you install and the webupdate fails and it wants you change proxy settings in your Mosaic browser ( ... dont believe 'em.
Just manually downlad the 4 service packs and install using these notes www.xilinx.com/support/answers/25384.html .
Also install all of them and in numerical order,
