I can ping the board but cant connect. pics attached.
troubles:
Ok so I have purchased 3 boards so far to run my 2500$ servos that I bought. The first two manufacturers did not specify a current(amperage) or respond to email., They got fried.. the 3rd is this MESA 7i76e the manual didn't say but they emailed me and told me it really didn't matter.. got a 24v 2.5a. I can ping the board but cant flash. I'm loosing my mind this is for my only machine that my business and livelihood depends on and it has been two months and I have still not turned these integrated servos yet. My situation is turning grim fast. Please if anyone can help me get up and running I will be for ever grateful.

Try
The current rating of the supply isn't such an issue, a circuit that only needs 100ma will only draw 100ma even from a 100A supply. Voltage is what needs to be correct.
Although in the event of short circuit a higher amperage PSU has the ability to supply more amperage.
sudo mesaflash --device 7i76e --addr 192.168.1.121 --readhmi

You host address is incorrect, it cannot match the 7I76Es address
(you are not pinging the 7I76E, you are pinging the host)
A suggested host address is 192.168.1.1 if the 7I76E is set for 192.168.1.121 or 10.10.10.1 if the 7I76E is set for 10.10.10.10

Just read.
1. I don't know what uspace is. Other than I should have used it to configure linuxcnc? I did sudo apt-get install uspace and package not found. I did a search for uspace and several unrelated things share that name.
2. "These instructions ASSume your dedicated network interface is "eth1"
... but its "eth0"
3.Configure network with static address
Add these lines to the file /etc/network/interfaces to configure eth1...
"interfaces" is not a file or folder in "etc/network/"

I really wish just one of these cards came with a STEP BY STEP fail-proof quickstart guide for stepping with a known working configuration with stated linuxcnc version. That would instantly be the number one sold card on the market, because issues like this are the only reason people cringe at the idea of switching to linuxcnc, they cringe so hard that they would rather pay 1000's of dollars a year for software because its cheaper than the time it can take to setup if you run into problems like this and have to keep waiting for shipping and refunds, and spending all of your time studying one manual after another searching high and low for STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS. If I get this working I'm going to do a step by step video IN ENGLISH on how to set this 7i76e up.
