You are powering ahead!
You might be better off using the axis or gmocappy versions of plasmac initially as there is only one person I know using qtplasmac on a live table so support might be a bit patchy.
It will be pretty easy to convert to it once you have everything sorted out and understand it all a bit more..
just a tip. Plasmac has a materialverter so if you save your sheetcam toolset, you will be able to import it into plasmac using it and the material drop down will be fully populated. If you go to qt plasmac later, just copy the file to your new config folder.
Also be sure to get the sheetcam plasmac post from this forum. I think its stickied so should be easy to find

Ah good points. Regular PlasmaC it is. You guys are awesome. So glad there is a a post processor already for Plasmac. I was not looking forward to tweaking mine.
