Start 5i25 with a firmware 5i25_g540_enc was created by Alexf2a
I try to start mesa 5i25 with a firmware 5i25_g540_enc for work with step motors with back coupling on the Chinese ranges sino-300.
From one plug 5i25 through a payment of www.cnc4pc.com/c10-bi-direction... - card.html I manage 3 step motors and via other plug 5i25 through the same payment 3 rulers are got. Judging by file 5i25_g540_enc.pin it is possible to connect 5 rulers to the second payment. All 3 axes without rulers work. But for some reason linuxcnc sees only two rulers. And sees signals of the phase A and B HalScope and as encoder does not perceive them. Connected to different free admissions of the second payment according to a raspinovka - but all the same the axis does not see a ruler - on Halmeter of the indication twitch on 0.005 and all. Found out that rulers can be connected according to a firmware to encoder 0, 2 , and 4. Encoder 1, 3.5 does not work. Prompt in what there can be a reason? I attach the hal and ini files. Excuse for bad English.

What does
sudo mesaflash --device 5i25 --readhmid
report?

OK that looks correct
1. Are you sure you don't have a pinout or cable issue?
the pins listed are DB25 pin for a 1-1 HDR26 --> DB25 flat cable
with pins 1 -->1 and HDR pin 26 unconnected
2. Be very careful with bare I/O pins. Connecting them to a voltage >7V or
more likely less than -0.7V will damage the I/O pin. Its very easy to apply
less than -0.7V due to HF ground noise, so just connecting an input to frame
ground will likely destroy that pin. You can protect against this kind of damage
with a series resistor in the 470 Ohm region.

I use all spare parts and cables purchased on the mesa website. C10 boards are also working.

You might Ohm out the flat cable. We had quite a few problems with the latest lot
of those (they passed out tests but the strain relief doesn't work well and its easy to
break wires on the DB25 end)

Do I need to check all the wires of a flat cable with a device? Then it is strange - after all, halscop sees signals A and B with encoder. And I ran the 5i25 with the prob-rfx2 firmware and my motors worked from this connector. But if necessary, I will check this cable. Thanks for the help!!!
