Need help to wire and config Mesa 7i92TM

Ok found. At this point I could take a 7i92h so I use two identical cables and two breakout boards.

Well guys, thank you very much for the help.
I took a closer look at the LinuxCNC documentation and saw a bit how to set up a new machine.
Now I have to buy the cards and then I will try to connect and configure everything
I will certainly have other questions and before poweing the board I will ask you for a confirmation on the wiring.

Hi guys, it's been a while but now I have everything I need (I hope).
I bought a Mesa 7i92TM and installed LinuxCNC 2.8.4 Debian 10 Buster PREEMPT-RT ISO on my computer.
But I don't understand which are the correct settings in the configuration wizards on LinuxCNC.
Should I use Pncconf since it's a Mesa board or should I use Stepconf since I have two generic BOBs? (see attached picture)

Ok, at point "Mesa Card 0" on "Board name " I select "7i92 - Internal data", but on "Firmware" what should I select? There are only BOB Mesa on the list.

I would use a parallel port pinout compatible firmware like G540x2

Note that those are just physical breakouts without any output buffering
or input protection so you need to be quite careful with connections to
your machine as any even instantaneous connection to a voltage above +7V
or below -0.7V will damage the 7I92xx

Ok thanks for the warning, I'll be careful.
It says there are 34 pins in the G540, but in my BOB there are only 25 pins + GND. And the numbers in the I/O Connector don't match.

There are 25 pins per 7I92 connector (17 are I/O bits and 8 are ground)
so with both connectors, you have 34 I/O total I/O bits

Note that your DB25 adapter pinout matches the pinout printed by mesaflash
or the .pin files included with the 7I92T firmware

(though the GND pins = 18..25 are not shown)
