Mesa Confguration Tool Update was created by JT
I'm working on adding a way to build custom HAL code. It's a WIP...

I saw you removed the repositories for separate configuration tools from Github.
Do you plan to adopt the translations of e.g. the 7i76e tool for mesact?
Some time ago you wrote that you wrote a program to merge the translation files if the different tools. Couldn't that be used to get the translations in mesact?

Almost nothing was translated and it created extra work for me each time I changed anything in the ui file so I dropped it until someone can translate.

Sad to hear that my "almost nothing" part which was in fact almost the half (176 of 432 strings) was just dropped .
I mean I don't need this translation...

well I still have the files... and I was referring to the mesact tool not the 7i76e tool.

I think I did a bad job of explaining the current situation. Your work was not deleted however the individual tools were deprecated when the mesact tool was fully functional.

The mesact tool had 2 words translated by me to test the function of the translation. Because my active work on the mesact tool required extra work to incorporate the translation and only 2 words were translated I turned it off to save me time.

If someone will work on the translation of the mesact tool I will attempt to merge the translation file from the 7i76e to mesact but it must be checked by someone that speaks both languages.

Yes a bit. I assumed "almost nothing" was related to the old tool(s).

Ok. If you enable the translation at some point - just ping me to check the result of the merge.

Right now I'm trying to sort out a driver issue with my dev PC and I need to reinstall Debian. As soon as I get that done I'll copy the 7i76e translation file and enable translations and give you a shout.

I created a branch ini2 that does not write over the ini file like before. I use the Python configparser to read and write to the ini file. This means you can add valid sections and key + values to the ini file and it will not remove them. If you want to try it out clone measct and checkout the ini2 branch.
