Hi All,

I am based in the UK and looking into a MESA card (preferably ethernet) such as the 7176E.
Does anyone know when these boards will be available again?
I have tried to contact  MESA directly but have not yet had a reply.

Many thanks!

The new 7i96S board is available.

mesaus.com/product/7i96s/

Shipping to UK is normally turned off unless requested.

You can get the 7i96S directly from Mesa though (shipping to UK enabled & cost estimated in the cart):

In Portugal, EUSurplus have some boards (but not the 7i76E).
The 6i25 / 7i76 combo is the PCIe equivalent if you are not wedded to the idea of ethernet.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I decided to import a 7i96S from the US.
Looking forward to trying out the MESA board next week!

Don't forget to use my Mesa Configuration Tool to build your configuration files. I just finished updating the tool so it does not change anything the user adds to the ini file which is a huge first for LinuxCNC as the other tools will write over the ini file and you will lose anything you added.

gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/mesact/index.html

In addition to the above the tool can perform many checks and report back many things about the PC as well as read and flash the board. It also has all the board manuals built in with diagrams for every board. It will also configure a smart serial daughter card and many other features. It will assist you in creating some basic custom HAL items. It can add MDI commands to [HALUI]...

Do we know if any of the ethernet connected 50pin mesa cards or their replacements with the new FPGAs from Efinix are going to be available anytime soon i.e., 7i80HD-16, 7i80HD-25, 7i93?

AFAIK the 7i92T series of boards are the next ones with the new FPGA. I don't know what's next.

Current updated FPGA card order is:

7I92Tx Production cards at assembly

7I95T Proto cards at assembly

7I80HDT Artwork nearly done

7I76ET Design stage
(many changes including push-pull field outputs
so outputs can do sinking, sourcing or both
and require no flyback diodes)

Hallo,
please, have somebody an info about Mesa cards availability? Mesa not answering emails long time, eshop is still out of stock :-( If this platform is dead, is there any other similar hardware which can work with LinuxCNC?
