I have an issue with my 6i25 card that I bought a few years ago when I was in the US, I bought it as a plug and go kit with a 7i76. I did reference this issue in a previous post about a PlasmaC issue, as I am still having issue with the card I am making this post.

The 6i25 from new always required a few restarts of the host computer to get it to boot, I had put this down to the pc and just basically lived with it. The pc eventually gave up altogether and I got a new motherboard for it. With the new motherboard I was unable to get the pc to boot at all with the 6i25 card installed. I got another pc of a different make and still have the same issue of not booting unless I remove the 6i25.
When the card is in the PCIe 1 slot, the pc gets stuck in a loop of starting shutting down and restarting, if it is in the pcie 16x slot, the pc stays on but seems to be pre post, the 2 red leds on the 6i25 flash and there is no monitor output or hd access, very similar to how the card was from day 1.

Is there anything I can do? Does the card have any software that may have been updated since I bought it in early 2016? are there any tests I can do to check what is happening?
I have been using a 7i76e to keep the plasma running but I need that for the milling machine it was bought for.
I know the simple option would be to buy another 7i76e but esurplus are out of stock and I am U.K. based now.

Is the 6I25 jumpered for 33 MHz?
Have you tried to update your PC BIOS to the latest?

Hi
Yes it’s set to 33 and both pc’s were tried with their original bios and then both updated to the latest bios available. I also went through all the bios settings, also removed all other cards from the pc’s etc etc

I'm running a BAT-I J1800 ITX
AMI BIOS with 64Mb SPI Flash ROM
with the same MESA boards with no problems.
I believe this board has been discontinued.
