Hello.
I have a setup with mesa 7i80hd 7i33ta and 7i37ta.
Analog servo drives need +24v enable signal and analog -10v +10v the problem is that 7i33 enable output is 5v.
What can do? drive 24v servo drive enable with relay module that accepts 5v inputs?
Also when use pncconf for setup ports of 7i80hd must tick invert checkbox for encoders inputs pwm outputs enables and 16inputs-8outputs ? or check invert only for estop input?

For a 24V enable, use a 7I37TA output (a single 7I37TA output has enough current to drive the enables for all axis)
The 7I33 enables from the FPGA card are active low so must be inverted
All 7I37TA outputs are active low so should be inverted also

So in pncconf for all 7i37 outputs and enable signals for 7i33 must tick invert checkboxes ?
For 7i37 inputs must tick invert checkboxes?

For outputs , typically yes, for inputs it depends on your usage

For 24v enable signals i found some ISP772T high side switches that are upto 34v
www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-ISP772T-D...3dc3016c904970db232a
so i will use 4 enables from 7i33 + 4 x ISP772T

I want more outputs.. can i connect this rs422 module
www.aliexpress.com/item/4000345846502.html
to some pins of p3 and connect a 7i84 sserial card? (I will config custom pinfile with sserial module)
7i84 can handle 29volts because my 24v power supply is not stabilized
and the voltage is between 26-29v.
What is a good p/ff1 starting value for a 3t boxed ways knee mill
with analog -10+10v bosch servos from 1992 with 1um resolution
from linear scales? Defauft values are p=1 ff1=1 but with fferror=10mm min_fferror=1mm throws easily error if i increase jog speed.
of cource i will do tuning with halscope but it will be easier if i had some start
p/ff1 values.
The enables from 7i33 work ok with the isp772t high side load switches
without seting something to pncconf.

That adapter should work for sserial devices

FF1=1 works if the analog output scale = velocity in machine units per second at 10V
That is if the machine velocity is 200mm/sec at 10V, and you set the analog output scale
to 200, FF=1 is correct.

Machine speed at 10v is 85mm/sec and OUTPUT_SCALE
is set by pncconf to 10. How much must be FF1?
Also an effective range of values for P/FF2 ?

For velocity mode servos, Its actually better to set
the OUTPUT_SCALE to machine units per second at 10V
(85 in your case) and FF1 to 1, as this means all PID settings
are in machine units.

If you want to stay with OUTPUT_SCALE  at 10,
FF1 would be 10/85=0.1176

I would start tuning with a low P value, say 10
FF2 should be quite small (.1 or less) and may
be unnecessary if the drives themselves are
well tuned.

Note that the starting P and FF2 values assume
that you  have set OUTPUT_SCALE to 85.

OUTPUT_SCALE affects only FF1 or both FF1 and P and in general all PID settings?
pncconf by default sets OUTPUT_SCALE to 10  P/FF1=1 and all other settings to 0
