...and I've acquired a new router~!
I'm still sticking with the BOSCH brand (every review I've read about this seems to be at 4/5 stars or better).
I went and got the variable speed router (PR20EVSK Colt). The manual has a small section giving an estimated setting for the speeds and after performing a bunch of tests, it certainly seems that lowering the RPM's is the way to go!
I see light at the end of the tunnel now....I've spent 18 months building the machine, and about 12 months learning how to operate it, working out the bugs and trying to understand the Gcode/programming.
Next up: I will be downloading QCad again (my PC crashed a couple months ago as well), and seeing if I can tolerate the learning curve~!
Crossing my fingers that I can get my business of making signs and customized cribbage boards running before spring officially hits!
Thanx again~!
