We have wo matsuura 760v with mx1 controls. Both use the same encoders.

If you have transistor drives drives, you will have a DC power supply like so

Your inputs run into two boards like these. .

The mx1 interconnect manuals are online. How much luck you will have getting each plug/pin signal is iffy. The wiring diagrams should say.

Well mine is a 3000g . no manuals with wiring diagram. That I have been able to locate. Will have to look tomorrow but I don't recall a power supply like the one in the pic. I was actually hoping to eliminate all the logic boards. To recoup some of the monies spent on hardware to retro it. Thanks for the info.

I'd guess the 3000g probably had scr drives,as my 1981 760 v does. They are AC powered. You don't need the yaskawa I/o boards. You will.just need to figure out which signal is on which pin of each cable. Methods machine tools was the matsuura dealer untill about 3 yrs ago and they have quite a library of info(/used to be a tech for them). They can get you a machine wiring diagram. Matsuura USA is the dealer now, I don't know how helpful they are. You can recoup some of your investment on the Yasnac parts. Lots of folks still run those controls, they are bullet proof and they are always looking for parts.

Tracing wires is no good they all go to the mob. So I guess I'll have to figure out the inputs the hard way but will try to track down methods machine.

Can you give me the machine serial number. I still have some matsuura/ yaskawa connections, maybe they can get you some info.

Thanks for the offer. Here is my machine plate.

I figured out tHe two wires for movement, but have two plugs for inputs on top of servodrives

The 2 wires on the far left of the left plug move the axis. Kicks the relays off though. So guess I'm making a little progress.
