needs 1 minute 6s for the Dragon file with 1mm offset: github.com/manuelmcd/dxf2gcode/blob/master/dxf/DRAAK.dxf
need's the same time in laser mode, so the slow part is the DXF-Loader:
can be faster, but all parts are Splines/Bezier Curves

This looks very promising, I have it running on my iMac (intel).
I really like that you can switch from part view to gcode view.
One thing I did notice was that when playing with Start Selector was that the selection point was a long way from the mouse pointer.
Are you intending to add leadins at any stage as I am interested in this for plasma cutting.
Edit: I think it would be worthwhile to start a new thread for this project.

That was quick work.
The leads seem to work very well, it took me a long time to figure out that a lead would not appear until the start point was manually set. I would think that having them applied at the starr if they are enabled would be ok. I did try it with these lines commented out and it seemed to work without issue.
I did a quick video of my mouse issue trying to set the start points.

# if not polyline.start:
# # only if a start point is set
# lead_in_active = "off"
# lead_out_active = "off"

i will get a mac soon, then i can try to fix the mouse problem.
i have only a mouse problem on parts of closed arcs .
the 'only if a start point is set' thing is because the auto start-points are in corners, and this will not really work in most cases.
EDIT: new thread -> forum.linuxcnc.org/31-cad-cam/46947-viac...am-for-linux-and-mac
