Attached is the test file, I am not sure what you mean by configuration, I am just using the defaults.
I should add that this iMac has a retina screen.
The attached patch makes it quite useable but probably needs more work.
When I refer to plasma I am referring to the plasmac based configurations which are a bit oddball in the linuxcnc way of thing.
For plasma it is best for small holes to have a straight leadin even if other leadins are arcs, and the length of the leadin needs to be restricted to no longer than the hole radius. I would be nice to have a user changeable small hole size size with say a default of 32mm as these holes would also normally set a hal pin to limit the velocity for torch height control.
Plasmac also uses materials in a different way in that we use materials rather than linuxcnc tools, this is not really compatible with the linuxcnc norm...

@tommylight
i think the transport costs to germany are bigger than a cheap homemade one, but thanks
@phillc54
thank you for the patch, i merged it with little changes
about plasma/small holes/...:
i could add more machine->tool-modes for plasma to support such special functions
i have to think about how to integrate this best
if you have any ideas, you can share them with me

i would like to make the prostprocessor more customizable and include functions like:
before_lead_in
before_lead_out
before_begin
after_begin
before_end
after_end
before_contour
before_tab
after_tab
before_island
after_island
before_plunge
after_plunge
What do you think about this and where should you be able to insert your own code ?

please replace 'PATH_TO_DXF' with the real path to your .dxf file you want to open.

Ahh, ok, do you can see gcode in the 'Maschine-Output' Tab ?
I think your 3D driver is broken, can you run 'glxgears' ?
