Hi hansu
I seem to have little knowledge about GitHub.
After studying a little, I will try to upload it to GitHub.
I'll let you know if I can upload it.

Thanks for uploading it.
I opened it with Libreoffice and it looks good to me. I converted one document to PDF - can you please check if the japanese characters are correct?
@Andy: I would suggest to publish these documents as PDF on the website and keep the sources (docx) in the repository. What do you think?

Hi HansU.
I saw the document you converted to pdf. Its Japanese font is used properly.
I think it is good to publish the PDF you suggested and keep the docx in the repository. I hope that it will be convenient for those who are involved in the Japanese document released this time.
Thank you.

linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/html/
Though as it links to a PDF then it could just hide here:
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/pdf/
Which really could do with an index, as the default view in a web browser does not show enough of the filename to see the languages.
The source for the first option, where the (partial) Chinese translation link is, is is here:
github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/blob/master/docs/src/index.tmpl

It would probably be possible to add a direct link here:@Andy: I would suggest to publish these documents as PDF on the website and keep the sources (docx) in the repository. What do you think?

Yes, an Index in /pdf/ is something that is missing there.
I would also add a link to the html doc Index just to make sure it is not being missed.

Yes that is much better than before.
But I thought about something like this: hansu.github.io/linuxcnc-doc/2.8/pdf/index.html
Sorry that I didn't have the time to do it earlier.
@Masa can you try to change the formatting of "LinuxCNC(1)_LinuxCNC_Manual_Pages" (and post it here or update on your Github)? If I open it with Libreoffice, some parts are is overlapped.
And are the japanese letters correct for "japanese"?

Hi HansU
"LinuxCNC (1) _LinuxCNC_Manual_Pages" has been updated on GitHub. The overlapping of text boxes has been eliminated.
thank you.

Which has disappeared again, presumably as a result of a recompilation of 2.8 by the buildbot.I generated a quick index using tree (based on a stack overflow post)
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.8/pdf/
