sorry - its a stupid "think" but i don't found a example
- for hal
A = 120
B = 60

Factor: = 0.5

Division is not found at:
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/hal_components.html

I don't know why this is the case, but to do division you need to use invert and mult2.

So, you invert the divisor, then multiply by the dividend.

"invert" has a parameter to make sure that you don't get divide-by-zero errors.

I tend to start with the list that starts halfway down this page:

And then try to guess which ones might do what I want.

Andy, there is a list of the real time components in the Integrators manual... at least for now.

I'm adding that same list to the html as we type... If a person doesn't have a clue what a comp does the list might be better as it contains a short description of each one.
